The primary wing of the school hosted its annual day titled ‘Jungle Book Se Aage’, on October 9, 2024. The glittering evening was graced by Dr (Mrs) Amita Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity Group of Schools and RBEF, along with IAS officer Manish Kumar Verma, DM, Noida, presiding as the chief guest of the event; Pooja Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity Humanity Foundation, and other dignitaries from Amity institutions.
The evening began with the primary student council welcoming the guests. This was followed by a medley of western and Indian songs that was sung by the school choir, Sur Dhara. The junior council members presented a report highlighting the academic and extracurricular accomplishments of the primary wing children. School principal, Ameeta Mohan presented a detailed report on the school’s achievements.
The kids of KG presented a vibrant performance showcasing traditional dances of various states, including Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and West Bengal. Students of Class I-IV, regaled the audience with an enchanting drama ‘Jungle Book Se Aage’.
The event also saw the conferring of special awards for scholastic and co-scholastic achievements. Suhani Chauhan, recipient of Pradhan Mantri Bal Puraskar, was presented with the Innovation Pioneer Award 2024, while ISSDC champions and Team Urja, who won the Project Management award at the F1 in Schools World Championship, were also honoured for their outstanding achievements. In his address, the chief guest congratulated Amitians for their endeavour towards excellence and urged them to pursue their dreams with vigour.

AIS Mayur Vihar
The school hosted the 12th edition of Subhashika, the inter-Amity Sanskrit shloka gaayan and skit competition on October 19, 2024 in which several students from Amity Group of Schools in Delhi/NCR participated with great enthusiasm. The judges for the event were Parmanand Bhardwaj, professor, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha and Dr Satender Shukla, assistant professor, Ramjas College, Delhi University.
The event was divided into two categories, the junior category for Class VI-VIII and the senior category for Class IX-X. Participants in the junior category had to compete in group recitation of shlokas while the seniors performed Sanskrit skits based on the epic Mahabharata.
The first prize in the junior category was bagged by AIS Mayur Vihar with the second prize being taken by AIS Vasundhara 6. The third prize went to AIS Gurugram 43 and the consolation prize was won by AIS Gurugram 46. In the senior category, AIS Mayur Vihar again bagged the first prize followed by AIS Saket winning the second prize. AIS Gurugram 46 fetched the third prize while AIS Gurugram 43 took home the consolation prize.

AIS Vasundhara 6
Young artists of the school brought home laurels at the 10th ‘Japan on Canvas’ national painting competition, held from July 1 - August 30, 2024 with the results being declared on October 3, 2024. The competition was held in three categories, each of which was given a unique subject to paint on. Category 1 (Class IV-VI) had to make art on the theme of ‘Japanese Festivals’, category II (Class VII-IX) was given the theme of ‘Cultural Landmarks in Japan’, while category III (Class X-XII) had ‘Historical figures of Japan’ as its theme. In category I, Vikhyat Aggarwal (VI) was the national winner, while in Category II, Medha Jain (IX) won the national mega prize, and in category III, Yashwini Jain (XI) was awarded the national outstanding performance award. The winning artworks of the three talented artists have been showcased in prominent art galleries of Delhi from Oct-Nov.

AIS Saket
The school organised 2nd ‘Shlokanjali’, an inter-Amity competition of Sanskrit Shloka recital for Class V-VIII on October 4, 2024. The competition was held in hybrid mode and required students to recite Sanskrit verses from the Bhagavad Gita. The jury comprised Professor (Dr) Chandrashekhar Tripathi, Motilal Nehru College (DU); Professor (Dr) Yogesh Sharma, PGDAV College (DU); Professor (Dr) Jyoti Raj, Jawahar Lal Nehru University and Professor (Dr) Ashish Kumar, IGNOU. All the participants were evaluated by the jury on the basis of their presentation skills, pronunciation, and recitation.
In the offline mode for Class V, Aradhya Chatterjee of AIS Saket bagged the first prize while Ishanvi Mani of AIS PV stood second. In the online mode for Class V, Vedayana Warkar, AIS Navi Mumbai came first, followed by Srishti Singh of AIS Gwalior winning the second prize. From Class VI, in the offline mode, Sadhya Taneja of AIS Gur 43 and Shrida Jamwal of AIS Gur 46 stood first and second respectively, while in the online mode Rachit Mishra of AIS Navi Mumbai and Avyan Sinha of AIS VKC Lucknow won the first and second prize respectively. Sanskriti Joshi of AIS Vas-6 came first for Class VII event, followed by Kairavi Buddhiraja, AIS MV in the offline mode, while Manish Singh of AIS Gwalior and Sikriti Khanna of AIS Navi Mumbai came first and second respectively in the online mode. For Class VIII, in the offline mode, Nitya Stuti of AIS Vas 6 bagged the first prize and Ayan Singhla AIS Gur 46 came second, while in the online mode, Saanvi Nitin, AIS Navi Mumbai came first with Kanishk Sharma, AIS Gwalior and Aarna Verma, AIS VKC Lucknow sharing the second prize.
